The groom’s parents are Jorge and Martha Gutierrez-Gomez of Guadalajara. The wedding will be held at Paradise Point at Smithville Lake at 6:30 p.m, on Saturday, Aug. 25. The bride is a graduate of William Jewell College. She works at Barkeley in Kansas City. The groom graduated from medical school at the University of Guadalajara.
