Thursday, Aug. 16, the Baptist Church was here and provided music and devotion. Those who helped were Don Ray, Richard Hogan, Sharon Burke and Shelia Bridgman. Friday, Aug. 17, we celebrated National Potato Fest Day. We had baked potatoes with different toppings along with potato chips and dip.
Sunday, Olive Baptist church held the worship service.
Mae Worrell celebrated her birthday on Aug. 21.
On Sunday, Aug. 19, Rev. Marilyn Dorst visited several residents.
We have started a new bingo morning each Saturday at 10. Mary Jo Pitsenberger had volunteered the month of August to do this. We appreciate it very much. Our residents love to play bingo.
Tuesday, Aug. 21, Nadine Watts came and we did karaoke. This is a favorite among the residents.
The cookie ladies from Pattonsburg Baptist came on Tuesday, Aug. 21. This is also enjoyed very much by all the residents.
We appreciate all those who help with our residents so very much.
John Shepard will also be having his 90th birthday on Aug. 28. There will be a celebration here on Saturday, Aug. 25 for him.
