Three members of the Pattonsburg FFA Chapter will be earning their America FFA Degrees this fall at the 80th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Ind.
Members Whitney Mason, Andrew Hulet, and Katelyn Hulet will be awarded the highest FFA Degree on Oct. 27 at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis.
The golden key of the American FFA Degree is awarded to those members who have earned their State FFA Degree, have maintained active membership for 36 months, and have invested or earned at least $1500 and worked 2,250 hours in excess of classroom time in their respective SAE fields. Members must also have an outstanding record of leadership abilities and maintained a high school scholastic record of a “C” or better.
Currently Whitney Mason is attending NWMSU and majoring in business management, Katelyn Hulet is attending MWSU and majoring in nursing, and Andrew Hulet is attending Southeast Community College in Milford, Neb., where he is pursuing a major in agricultural machinery parts.
