Funeral services for Marjorie Froman were conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 18, at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Gallatin. Family visitation was held one hour prior to service. Interment was held at New Hope Cemetery in Liberty. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gallatin Senior Citizens Center.

Marjorie Snyder (Williams) Froman, 88, died Saturday, July 14, 2007, at the Cameron Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Froman was born Sept. 22, 1918, to Amos and Edith (Snyder) Williams in Taylorsville, Ken. She was a graduate of Georgetown College in Georgetown, Ken.

After graduation she taught English and music at the high school level in southeast Missouri for several years. Then she moved to Gallatin to teach. She taught at several schools in Daviess and the surrounding counties.

She was united in marriage to Edward Froman Sr. in Overland Park, Kan. She had lived in Gallatin since 1945.

Mrs. Froman was a former member of the Gallatin Baptist Church, Garden Club and the DAR. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Gladys Black. Survivors include her husband, Edward Sr. of the home; son, Eddie Jr. and wife Carolyn of Gallatin; two grandsons, Mark of Gallatin and Patrick of Kansas City; and one step granddaughter, Jill Swindler of St. Joseph.
