A quilting guild is being formed in the Trenton area for persons interested in expanding their knowledge of quilting by sharing with other quilters in the Trenton and surrounding areas.

The name of the guild is "Scrappy Quilters" and they meet on the first Thursday of each month at the TNT Investment offices at 906 Main in Trenton at 6:30 p.m.
The main purpose for the guild in these beginning stages is to share their interest in quilting and to help preserve the heritage behind quilting.
The group has a "show and tell" time at each meeting where attendees can bring items they are working on to share with the group or bring a problem they might be having with a project and seek help from others in attendance. A program at each meeting shares tips on quilting and other projects.
