Weekend visitors of Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Newby were Randy Teel of Liberty and Rick and Lilian Carter of Coffey.

Valerie Newby and Emryk went to Omaha Zoo over the weekend.

Word has been received of the death of Lynn Prosser-Volker, 47, of Moline, Ill. She passed away June 24. Lynn was the daughter of Lois Savage Prosser. Her mother Lois; her husband Chris; her sister Janet Gilland of Rock Island, nieces and nephews, and cousin Peggy Fredricks of Pattonsburg, survive. She was preceded in death by her father, Adair "Bud" Prosser.

Letha Shipers and Maude Youngs went shopping one day this week. Letha was getting her drivers license renewed.

Saturday Dallas Lowrey went to Tarkio to visit Darryl and Merylan Lowrey, helping Darryl celebrate his birthday. They also attended the state organized "Fly In" at Tarkio Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon Tim and Manda Boling and children of the Kansas City area, Aaron and Kate Lowrey, and son, Springfield, visited Dallas at his home.

Tom and Pat Lambert returned home Sunday evening from Fort Belnap Indian Reservation following several days working on a church there and painting some houses. They went with a group from Northwest New Life Baptist Church Association. They also stopped at a cemetery in Ashton, S.D., to locate Pat’s great-uncles’ gravesite.

Bill and Mary Lou Browning and Kenneth David, Gallatin, Danny and Becky Dilley and family were Sunday guests of Kenneth and Evelyn Dilley.

Allen Plymell, Bethany, was down Sunday to visit Alice Bell and attend the Wagon Wheel.

Melissa Huff and sons Wyatt and Abe, Christa Sweiger, Grafton, Oliva and Lexie, Becky Huff, Jeff Owens, Matt and Renee Huff, Landon and Perry, Gary and Rick Huff were Sunday dinner guests of Martha Lea Huff.

Paul and Doris Cameron attended the wedding of their grandson Dustin Miller and Krista Hicks Saturday evening. A host of family and friends also attended the wedding.

Paul and Sally Schweedler returned home Sunday after spending several days at Colony, attending the flea market.

A week ago Janette and Buddy Pinson, Goodlettsville, Tenn., spent several days visiting Woodrow and Maxine Morris on July 8. They and Dorlene Munn went to Winterset, Iowa, to visit Bill and Cheryl Adams. Janette and Buddy returned to their home Tuesday.

Visiting Tuesday with Woodrow and Maxine Morris were Lee Warford and daughters Katie and Kelly. Saturday morning Forrest and Jeanna Morris and Sunday, David Searcy.
