Officers Climb new heights of leadership
On July 9-11, the Pattonsburg FFA Chapter stayed at a Chapter Officer Resort at the Mozingo Lake in Maryville. The Jefferson, South Nodaway, West Nodaway, and Worth County chapters also joined the Pattonsburg chapter.
Approximately 30 members were present. Activities were team building projects, personality tests, goal setting, public speaking, brainstorming sessions, and contest teams. Jim Cassidy helped all the members to learn the seven habits of highly effective teenagers.
All of the members had the chance to try the MOERA Challenge Course. MOERA also allowed the members to learn how to trap shoot.
State FFA President, Kabel Oaks, came and spoke to the members and taught them important qualities in being a team. All members had the chance to swim in the Mozingo Lake, have night time hikes and campfires together.
