They were married on that date in 1982 at the Gentryville Baptist Church. A reception will be held in their honor Sunday, July 22, in the basement of Great Western Bank in Albany from 2-5 p.m. Hosting the event will be their children, Megan, Hailey and Christopher, assisted by other family members. Parents of the anniversary couple are Leo and Glenda Barnes of Albany, Ramon Mikes of Albany, and Elaine Carter of Bethany. All relatives and friends are invited. The couple requests no gifts, please.
