Funeral services for Doris Albrecht will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 13, at the First Christian Church in Gallatin.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:30 until 8 p.m. at McWilliams Funeral Home in Gallatin. Friends may call after 11 a.m. on Thursday. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery-Froman Addition, Gallatin. Memorials may be made to the Gallatin First Christian Church Building Fund or Comfort Care Hospice.
Doris J. Albrecht, 75, Gallatin, died Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at her home.
Mrs. Albrecht was born on April 1, 1932, to Ralph and Cleta (Sartain) Boyer in Gallatin. She grew up in Gallatin, working at Davis Drug Store before graduating from Gallatin High School in 1950.
On Nov. 2, 1950, she was united in marriage to Bobbie Albrecht in Gallatin. They lived most of their married life raising their children on the family farm south of Gallatin.
Mrs. Albrecht was active in the Lock Springs Extension Club, and was a member of the First Christian Church in Gallatin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Norma Lloyd.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Bobbie of the home; one daughter, Pamela Stamper of Kearney; two sons, Jerry Bob of Bakersfield, Calif., and Rickey Lee of Gallatin; one sister, Bonnie Fields of Aurora, Ill; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
