June 15 — Senior Festival at Bethany 8:30 to 3:30; June 16 — OATS garage sale at Dockery Park; June 20 — Board meeting 2 p.m. at Center.
The product of the month for June is – a can of carrots.
This year Senior Festival will be held at South Harrison High School in Bethany, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, June 15. Free health screenings will be held in the morning, along with free tetanus shots. Lunch can be purchased for $2. And there will be entertainment in the afternoon. Royals Hall of Fame pitcher Dennis Leonard will be a guest speaker. Call the center for more information at 663-2828.
Menus June 18-22
Monday: Swiss steak, baked potatoes, carrots, pineapple; Tuesday: hot tenderloin sandwich, broccoli, corn, cherry pie; Wednesday: baked potatoes, salad, juice, crackers, sherbet; Thursday: chicken stew, cottage cheese, cole slaw, biscuits, pudding; Friday: barbecued chicken legs, green beans and potatoes, beets, fruit cobbler.
