Pattonsburg FFA Chapter President Kate Hangley officially took over as area president during the Chapter Officer Leadership program (C.O.L.D) held on May 24 at Hamilton High School.
The event was attended by 185 students from across the area. Students participated in the C.O.L.D which was hosted by Miranda Leppin and Chase Holcumbrink who planned different activities to help the new officers work on improving skills needed to be a great officer.
C.O.L.D helped the new FFA officers learn many new skills and individual officer responsibilities. Other skills learned were teamwork, goal setting, and public speaking.
