 Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Joseph. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Kidney Foundation.

Drexel T. Berry, 85, Helena, died Monday, June 4, 2007, at his farm in Helena.
Born Sept. 24, 1921, in Gentry County, he was a veteran of World War II. He served in the Army as a sergeant in the 319th Bomber Group at Fort Dix, N.J.; and Okinawa, Japan.
Mr. Berry retired from Swift and Co. in 1971 after 24 years of service. He also owned and operated the South Prairie Antique Shop and the Double D Gun Shop.
In 1944, he married Sarah Fields of Lambertville, N.J. She preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by his parents, Truman and Lennie Berry; and his grandson, Marshall Hutchcraft.
Survivors include four daughters, Irene Taul of Gallatin, Judy Gasper, Connie Jackson, and Melody Schaefer; three brothers, Paul Berry, Donald Berry, and Larry Berry; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
