An Altamont woman received serious injuries in a one-vehicle accident that occurred at about 6:02 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, in Daviess County.

According to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol, Debrah Pennington, 54, was northbound on Hwy. 69 about one mile south of Winston. Her vehicle crossed the center line, traveled off of the south shoulder, down an embankment and struck a ditch.
Mrs. Pennington was taken by Life-Net Air Ambulance to Heartland Regional Medical Center. She was not wearing her seat belt. The 2001 Chevrolet pickup was totaled and towed by Bridgeman’s Tow of Altamont.
The accident was investigated by Sgt. M. A. Ott, assisted by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department.
Summons pending.
Kay Allen, 51, Gallatin, received minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident at about 10:20 p.m. on Thursday, May 17.
According to a report by the Missouri Highway patrol, Mrs. Allen was northbound on Route DD two miles northwest of Gallatin. Her 1999 Ford Taurus traveled off the east side of the roadway, struck an embankment, overturned, and came to rest on its top off the east side of the roadway facing south.
Mrs. Allen was taken by Daviess County Ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center. She was wearing her seat belt.
The vehicle was totaled and towed by Bridgemans of Altamont.
The accident was investigated by Tpr. J.P. Lynch, assisted by Tpr. A.K. Griffin.
No summons issued.
A 15-year-old from Jamesport received moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident at about 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29.
Gordon Larrimie, 16, Jamesport, was westbound on Sunset Ave., four miles south of Gallatin when he failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the north side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned one time. The vehicle came to rest upright off the north side of roadway.
A passenger, Matthew Ross, 15, was taken by Daviess County Ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center. He was not wearing a seat belt.
The 2006 KIA was extensively damaged and driven from the scene.
The accident was investigated by Tpr. L. Newman, assisted by Trp. T. Goolsby.
