June 8 — Health Seminar 11-12; June 15 — Senior Festival at Bethany 8:30 to 3:30; Bingo every Tuesday morning.
The product of the Month for June is –– a can of carrots.
Senior Festival is a fun filled day of activities, education, and entertainment for seniors in northwest Missouri. This year Senor Festival will be held at South Harrison High School in Bethany, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, June 15. Free health screenings will be held in the morning, along with free tetanus shots. Lunch can be purchased for $2. And there will be entertainment in the afternoon. Royals Hall of Fame pitcher Dennis Leonard will be a guest speaker. Call the center for more information at 663-2828.
Menus June 4-8
Monday: ham and beans, onions and pickles, tomatoes, cornbread, bread pudding; Tuesday: breaded tenderloin sandwich, tator tots, macaroni salad, cherry pie; Wednesday: beef liver and onions, baked potato, California blend, fruit and ice cream; Thursday: pork roast, cabbage, potatoes and carrots, fruit salad; Friday: chicken and dressing, potatoes and gravy, spinach, bar cookies.
