The second grade students at Covel D. Searcy Elementary School recently teamed up with their Partner in Education, the city of Gallatin.
Zac Johnson, city administrator, took the students on a tour of the water plant. The students learned about where the water comes from, how it travels to homes, and how it is cleaned and stored. The city also provided each of the students with a city of Gallatin water bottle. The students really enjoyed the water plant. The second graders appreciate the city of Gallatin for being a great Partner in Education.
