Ray has been towing professionally for four or five years. He began towing junk cars and has been doing auction runs. After seeing a need in the Gallatin community for a more complete towing service, he bought a tow truck and set up business.

The 2001 C-6500 two-ton truck will do all flatbed tows.

"I can fit a four-door dually truck on there," Raymond said. "And there’s a stinger on the back I can tow a car with."

His business also offers tire changes, jump starts, lock-outs, and roadside service, all at reasonable rates. Raymond says he will do auction runs and auto repossessions with the proper paperwork.

Ray’s Tow is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Phone 663-3367 during regular business hours and 660-605-0177 for twenty-four hour service.

Raymond was born in Jefferson City. His father was career military, and as "an army brat" he moved around quite a bit and last lived in Virginia. He has two daughters, Chelsea, 11, and Cheyenne, seven. He moved to our area about three years ago to be near his fiancé, Tawnya Farrow. Tawnya’s parents, Shawn and Linden King, live in Altamont, but have bought a house in Kidder and will be moving there as soon as it’s ready.

Mikes Tire moved and is also located at 602 S. Main in the former Auto Master’s brick building.
