The Covel D. Searcy Elementary school kindergarten students went to the R & K Greenhouse on May 17.

The students enjoyed taking a tour of the greenhouse and seeing all of the beautiful flowers. Before leaving Kathy Gatton, owner, gave each student a small pot containing Munchkin seeds to take home. Each of the kindergarten classes made a sign for Mr. and Mrs. Gatton thanking them for the beautiful geraniums each child was given on the Friday before Mother’s Day. Mr. and Mrs. Gatton provided a geranium for each student in preschool through sixth grade.
