Funeral services for Romaine Trosper were held Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Hamilton. Interment was at Trosper Cemetery, Breckenridge. Arrangements were by Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Trosper Cemetery.

Romaine Trosper, 79, Hamilton, died May 5, 2007, at Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home, Hamilton.
Born April 1, 1928 in Gilman City, to Roy and Eula (Gard) McLey, she grew up in the Daviess County area and graduated from Jamesport High School.

Mrs. Trosper retired from the Stride Rite shoe factory in Hamilton.
She was a member of the Hamilton American Legion Auxiliary and the First Baptist Church of Hamilton.
Mrs. Trosper was preceded in death by her parents; an infant sister; and a brother, Herbert Wayne.
On May 11, 1956, she married Kelly Trosper of Breckenridge. He preceded her in death Oct. 22, 1972. They had one daughter, Marcia.
Survivors include one daughter, Marcia Gilgour of Hamilton; one brother, Ivan McLey of Gallatin; and one sister, Juanita Stretch of Bolivar; and two grandchildren.
