Winston athletes excel in HDC track

Hannah Barker, a senior at Winston High School, broke the HDC Conference high jump record on Tuesday with a jump of 5′ 1/4". Barker also won the 100-meter hurdles and placed second in both the 100- and 200-meter dashes. She is the daughter of Roger and Cindy Barker.

Amber Mullen, eighth grade daughter of Michael and Patricia Fisher, broke the HDC junior high record in the 75m hurdles with a time of 13.69.
