Board election results were certified and Jason Teel and Lincoln Cornett were sworn in as board members during the regular meeting of the Pattonsburg R-2 Board of Education held Tuesday, April 17.

Officers were elected for the current school year and next school year: Craig Lambert is president; Ben deJong is vice-president; Lincoln Cornett is secretary; and Patty Hartley is treasurer.
The Pattonsburg R-2 Board of Education voted to accept the resignation of Sally Sparks, math teacher, Lynn Percell, social studies teacher, and Cheryl Klingensmith, FACS teacher, effective at the end of the school year. The board voted to hire Kristen Yates as elementary teacher for 07-08.
The board reviewed and approved policy updates; program reports pertaining to instructional effectiveness and the wellness program; and the Calendar of Events.
Mr. Collier reported an enrollment of 74 in kindergarten through sixth grades and an attendance rate of 95.4% for March. Mrs. Gannan reported an enrollment of 84 students in 7-12 with an attendance rate of 95.6%
The board discussed the new lawn mower that was purchased.
Board members in attendance at the April 17 meeting were Craig Lambert, Patty Hartley, Ben deJong, Gene Thatcher, Dianne Hulett, Lincoln Cornett, Cindy Estep, Jason Teel and Mrs. Gannan, high school principal, Mr. Collier, elementary principal, Cheryl Cornett and Wendell Burns, superintendent.
