Jamie Tummons, a former student at Gallatin High School, and presently an FFA member from Waxahachie, exhibited the grand champion heifer and won the showmanship class in the Polled Hereford Junior Heifer Show at the Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show in Fort Worth, Texas.

Jamie is the daughter of Julie and Brad Tummons, former residents of Gallatin. She has also won honors at the San Angelo, Texas, stock show by winning the Junior Futurity, a $1,000 scholarship. She had the grand champion polled Hereford heifer at the Huston Jr. Livestock Show on March 1. [Submitted Photo]
