The promoters of the Heartland Mountain Bike Race Series have announced that the mountain bike race at Crowder State park has been cancelled to ensure that the trail system would not be damaged as a result of the wet trail conditions.
The Heartland promotion group is dedicated to offering mountain bike races that are fun, safe, and environmentally responsible. The current weather conditions have made the trails extremely susceptible to possible trail erosion and have created conditions that are risky or unsafe for a competitive event.
