We’ll start out in that warm "California Sun" and finish "Twistin’ the Night Away" in New York City! Along the way, we’ll journey to Detroit for some of that old Motown magic and across the "Green River" into Nashville, the home of country. We’ll make a pit stop in Jersey to hear from the Jersey boys, "Oh What a Night" it will be.

Singers and dancers, come share some of the fun! Tryouts for this production will be Sunday, April 15. Vocal auditions will begin at 2 p.m. in the Hamilton Community Arts Theatre. Vocalists should prepare a song of their choice and bring either sheet music or an accompaniment tape. Mrs. Nancy Sandy will be the accompanist, or bring your own accompanist.

Dance auditions will begin at 4 p.m. in the theater. Dancers will learn a short routine. Judging will follow. Selection for the dance team will be based on the performance of the learned routine. Heather Cole, Gallatin, will be the choreographer.

We are "On the Road Again" making music with our friends, and we hope you will join us. For additional information, contact Pat Brown at 816-583-7392, or Karen Cox at 816-583-7342.

"Rockin’ Road Trip" will be performed on Friday, June 1; Saturday, June 2; and Sunday, June 3. All performances will be at 7:30 p.m. The show will be held in conjunction with the J.C. Penney Days celebration in Hamilton.
