Due to the decrease in the number of campers signed up for the Lake Viking Lions Kids Kamp for visually impaired, the 2007 summer camp has been postponed, with the committee to reconvene in September to plan camp for 2008.

"Fortunately, visual impairment is a low incident disability," according to Bill Daughterty, Kansas School of the Blind.
The Kids Kamp committee expressed their appreciation to the many Lions Clubs who have given their support in the past. Terry Jarboe, chairman, and Bill Calhoon, secretary, said the committee is looking forward to a successful camp in 2008.
