The University of Missouri Extension Council for Daviess County held its annual dinner on March 3 at Tri-County High School in Jamesport.

Linda Steward, Daviess County Clerk, swore in the newly elected members: Norma Griffin, Carol Wood, and Raymond Heldenbrand. Special guests were Beth Wheeler and Mary Gingerich, the recipients of inclusion in the University of Missouri Leaders Honor Roll. Members of the honor roll are recognized for going above and beyond expectations, while generously giving of their time and energy to MU Extension programs. Wheeler leads the local Master Gardeners group and Gingerich is the community leader for the Jamesport Brushy Squirrels 4-H Club.
Tim Baker is the Horticulture Specialist for Daviess County. Becky Simpson is the 4-H Youth Development Specialist and County Program Director for Daviess County.
