Judy Horton spent three days in Lawrence to be with her daughter Susan and her family, Mark, Patrick, Evan, Eric and Amy, and also attended the visitation and funeral for Bill Elzea.
Alana Julian of Springdale, Ark., and Lovie Belah of Lockwood were weekend guests of Jim and Dawn Hoover. While here they attended the shower for Lyle and Jamie’s triplets.
Tuesday the Baptist church ladies went to the Lake Viking Health Care Center taking their homemade cookies for the residents. Those going were Mildred Huff, Elanor Best, Rhonda Lambert and Norma Lea Crabtree.
Sunday afternoon Helen Bozarth, Evelyn Hartley, Vivion Ross and Daphna Cummings went out to attend an Ozark Musical group performance.
Paul and Sally Schweedler, Jeff and Courtney Schweedler and Steven Schweedler went to Mount Ayr, Iowa, to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Pearce for a family gathering to be with Randy Pearce before he leaves again for Kuwait in April.
Those visiting Woodrow and Maxine Morris this week were Forrest and Jeanna Morris, Mr. and Mrs. H.A. Roberson on Saturday morning. Sunday Bill and Cheryl Adams and Dorlene Munn visited them. Herb Luke had been a visitor also this week.
Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Mike Shipers visited Letha Shipers. Lavena Lowrey took her some knee robes to tack. The robes will be given to a nursing home.
Scott and Angela Crowder and children, Jared and Janna, spent the weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hulet and extended family and also Lavena Lowrey and Tommie Lowrey and extended family.
Jackie Morris spent the weekend with Julia Cornett. Larry Cornett had lunch with them. Sunday visitors were Bonnie and Richard Walker, Danny, Larry, Cheryl, Lincoln, Ronnie Cornett. Jimmy Dean Morris called from Houston, Texas, and reported he is feeling better. Judy Peters also called.
Alice Bell returned Joshua Ford  home Sunday. He had been spending spring break with her.
