Graveside service and interment for Kenneth Orr were held Friday at Highland Cemetery, Hamilton, with military honors provided by the Hamilton American Legion Post No. 285. Arrangements were by Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.
Kenneth L. Orr, 82, Winston, formerly of Kidder and McFall, died on March 20, 2007, at a nursing home in Cameron.
Born on July 5, 1924, in Mirabile to Richard D. and Sophia (Gooding) Orr, he had graduated from the Penney High School in Hamilton in 1942.
Mr. Orr served our country in the Navy during World War II.
He had been a chef; and he and his wife had owned and operated the Dragon Drive-In Restaurant and Plaza Restaurant, both of Cameron; and Ken and Ann’s Cafe in Hamilton.
Mr. Orr was a member of the Cameron American Legion Post No. 33.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Alta Mae Orr; brothers, Lindy and Paul Orr; and sisters, Doris Ulbright and Rita Cole.
On Dec. 9, 1967, he married Anna Davis in Chillicothe. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include five children, Ruth Ann Benson, Potosi; Steve Orr, Bentonville, Ark.; Judith Haupt, Hamilton; Gail Ritzmann, Winston; and Sandra Slater, Augusta, Ga.; brother, Dean Orr, Hamilton; and sister, Lois Foster, Weaubleau; 15 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
