Students of The Dance Company of Gallatin recently competed at International Dance Challenge on the campus of KU in Lawrence, Kan.

Dancers competed in tap, jazz, hip-hop, musical theater, open and clogging categories. Adjudicated awards ranged from silver, sterling silver and gold. The Dance Company also had team members chosen for the National Miss and Mr. Dance Team Competition. Special Judges, Overall Runner-up Awards were additional directors choice ribbons and plaques received by team members. Paul Bruinsma, tap instructor and Vera Nelson, instructor and owner of The Dance Company of Gallatin, accompanied the dancers to Kansas.
