March 8 and March 15 — AARP Tax Help 1-4; March 21 — Board meeting at 2 p.m. at Center.
Irene Frost was the winner of the Product of the Month drawing for February. The Product of the Month for March is – any canned item. We are participating in the Feinstein Challenge Food Drive for March and April. For donations of canned items or monetary donations, we will receive a percentage of the $1 million pledged by the Feinstein Foundation.
An AARP representative will be at the Center on Thursday, March 8, and March 15 to help with tax preparation. Call 1-816-294-8975 to make an appointment or walk-in between 1 and 3 p.m.

Monday: pot pie, lettuce salad, juice, biscuit, cheese cake; Tuesday: Swiss steak, parsley potatoes, carrots, dump cake; Wednesday: barbecued meatballs, scalloped potatoes, green beans, pudding dessert; Thursday: ham, sweet potatoes, oriental vegetables, cornbread, fruit; Friday: corned beef and cabbage, potatoes, muffins, applesauce Jell-O.
Children’s Advocacy sponsors dinner theater
The Children’s Advocacy Center is again sponsoring a dinner theater n March to raise money for its continued operation. The Trenton Acting Guild will present a two-act comedy “Said the Spider to the Spy” on March 23 and 24 at Pleasant View R-6 School. LeAnna Wilcox, elementary teacher in Jamesport, will play a beach bum in the play.t
