Two Gallatin R-5 students, Katie Story and Anthony Novak, have been selected by their instructors, Pam Miller, childcare, and Don Dennis and Chris Todd, building trades, as Grand River Technical School Students of the Quarter in their respective programs for second quarter.

One student from each program is recognized each quarter. Criteria for this award include the following: Outstanding work ethic, excellent attendance, good manners, and superior grades.
Katie and Anthony each received a "Certificate of Excellence" along with a GRTS sweatshirt designed specifically to recognize their achievements. Their photos are currently being displayed on the GRTS Wall of Fame.
