Mass of Christian burial for Hershel Harrison will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 9, at the Sacred Heart Church, Hamilton. Visitation is at 7 p.m. and rosary 8 p.m. Thursday, at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Church, Hamilton.

Hershel Edward Harrison, 80, Kidder, died Friday, Feb. 2, 2007.
Mr. Harrison was born on May 12, 1926, in Atchison, Kan., to John and Edith (McCully) Harrison.
He was a graduate of Weston high school.

Mr. Harrison served in the Navy during World War II on the USS Albemarle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
On March 31, 1951, he was united in marriage to Mary Lou Marr. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include four daughters, Mimi Curtis, Fulton, Mickey Smith, St. Joseph, Tammy Rogers, Kidder, and Kara Eilers, Kansas City; one sister, Anna Catherine Heintzelman, Easton, Kan.; and six grandchildren.
