The House conveyed upon the Gallatin resident their most heartfelt best wishes upon his retirement.
The 93rd General Assembly recognized Mr. Swofford with a signed resolution, stating that the House holds in high esteem those Show-Me State residents who have proven to be exemplary citizens in local communities and neighborhoods.
Mr. Swofford has attained considerable distinction in the area as an auctioneer. He retired in November 2006 after 65 years of service.
