Funeral services for Robert Fanning were held Sunday at The Lighthouse Church, in Fillmore. Arrangements were by Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel, St. Joseph. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Lighthouse Church or the family.

Robert J. "Bob" Fanning, 64, St. Joseph, died Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, at his home.
Mr. Fanning was born Sept. 14, 1942, in Pattonsburg, to Robert and Clara (Dilley) Fanning. He was a longtime St. Joseph resident.
He was self-employed at Nodaway Motors, Fanning Wrecker Service and retired from Thompson Brothers.
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Brenda Sue.
Survivors include his wife, Betty of the home; three sons, Bobby, Robbie and Adam; and daughter, Betty Sue, all of St. Joseph; one sister, Norma; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
