Funeral services for Sterling Bottcher were held Sunday, Jan. 7, at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany. The graveside service and burial was Monday at the Eastlawn Cemetery in Urbana, Ill. Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 46, Bethany, 64424.

Sterling Bottcher, 87, Bethany, formerly of Whitney, Texas, died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Virginia of the home; three sons, Brian Bottcher, Bethany, Cris Bottcher, Gilman City, and Dr. Bruce Bottcher, Marble Falls, Texas; daughter, Elaine Mortensen, Dwight, Ill.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
