Weekend guests of Alice Bell were Butch and Allison Ford, Joshua Ford, Brett and Brianna Henggeler. On Christmas day Leanna Thompson joined them. Joshua will be staying all week with grandma Alice.

Mike and Sharon Shipers, Jay and Becky, from Holt, spent Christmas Day with Letha Shipers.

Christmas Eve with Paul Jr. and Daphna Cummings were Greg, Lisa and Ethan Teel and Miles Bruner. Christmas day the Cummings went to the Teel’s.

Randy and Kristie Hulet hosted the Christmas Eve gathering with the family, and Lanny and Peggy Searcy, Dale and Dave Hulet.

Last Sunday an early Christmas gathering was with Jimmy Wayne Ted family at Princeton. Guests were Lanny and Peggy Searcy, Randy and Kristie Hulet, Caroline and Andrew and his friend Mandy, Eric and Mackensie Funk and children, Alex and Emma and Mallory Teel.

Mildred Huff and Loretta Newby were the ladies from the Baptist Church that took the homemade cookies to the residents of the Lake Viking Health Care Center this month.

Saturday evening was the Christmas gathering at the J.T. and Loretta Newby home. Guests were Emryk and Valorie, Michele and Kim Harris, Marquietta and Brent Brown and daughter Kelsey, Rick and Lillian Carter, Mindi Carter, Bobby Peterson, Greg Allwood and Jamie Estes.

Saturday evening Christmas gathering with J.W. and Martha Huff guests were Virginia Sprague, Matt Huff and family, Brian Thompson And family, Gary Huff and friend Mary, Rick and Vicky Huff, Crista Sweiger, Becky Huff and son Garland, and Jeff Owens.

Marvin and Noranne Searcy hosted a pre-Christmas dinner for family and friends at the Pattonsburg Multi-Purpose Center on Sunday, Dec. 17. Gail Searcy, Lawton, Okla., was present as a guest of Shane and Susan Searcy and sons, Patrick and Thomas, of West Des Moines. Gail remained in the home of Marvin and Noranne for a weeks visit. They will return her to West Des Moines, where they will be Christmas Day guests of the Shane and Susan Searcy family. Gail will return to her home on Tuesday, Dec. 26.
