Tom Hensley, 64, died at his home near Weatherby on Monday, Dec. 11, 2006. Mr. Hensley was cremated under the direction of Bram Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Comfort Care Hospice.

Mr. Hensley was born Sept. 22, 1942, at Kansas City, and had lived at Weatherby for the past two years. He formerly had been a resident of Maysville for over 20 years.
He had been employed as a sheet metal worker for York International in Albany, before his retirement in 2005.
On Feb. 6, 1960, he married Rita A. Wright. She survives of the home.
Mr. Hensley was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Hensley; his mother, Dortha A. (Williams) Sorley; a grandson, Jason Callaway; and a half brother, Leroy Sorley.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, are a son, David Hensley, Stewartsville; a daughter Connie Sanders, Anaheim, Calif.; stepmother, Pauline Hensley, West Plains; two half brothers, Larry Watkins, Blue Springs, and Jerry Hensley, Gower; two half sisters, Shirley Akers, Blue Springs; and Patti Burge, Pomona; and two granddaughters.
