Discussion was held on the revised water contract for Public Water Supply District #2 at the regular meeting of the Gallatin Board of Aldermen held on Monday, Dec. 11. The board motioned to approve the supplemental agreement water purchase contract between Gallatin and PWSD#2.

Caldwell made a motion to accept the change order of $7,175.52 on the sewer bill for Irvinbilt.

City Administrator Johnson commented that the delinquent charge ordinance is taking longer to prepare but should be completed by the first meeting in January.

Police Chief Mark Richards reported on activity from Nov. 27-Dec. 11. Reports Taken/Tickets Given: 2 accidents, 1 assault, 3 stealing, 2 child molestation. There are five dogs in the pound.

Chief Richards stated that City Court was held today and they had approximately 83 people on the docket.

Bills in the amount of $95,026.95 were approved for payment.

Mr. Johnson was asked by a board member to find out information on taking credit and debit cards at city hall for utility payments.

The next Board meeting is scheduled for Christmas day, the board agreed to re-schedule the meeting to Wed. Dec. 20 at 6 p.m.

Mayor Ballew announced that the city’s holiday party would be on Thursday, Dec. 21, at 6:30 p.m. at Cycles.

The board entered into executive session pursuant to legal actions and litigation.

City Administrator Johnson stated that the city crews handled the first winter ice smoothly.
