Scholastic Book Fair continues through this week until Friday, Dec. 15. Elementary students in kindergarten through sixth grade will have two chances during the week to purchase books during the school day. Two open house nights have been planned, including one on Friday, Dec. 15, from 4-8 p.m. Quality books may be purchased at the book fair at affordable prices, and proceeds benefit the school library.
Volunteers are needed both evenings. Please contact Mrs. Denton at ext. 233 or Mrs. Siever at ext 224, 367-2111.
Art Club formed
Mrs. Siever, with the help of several students, has formed an art club. The club will help with scenery for the Christmas program and school play. Members are Jeremiah Nitzschke, Krista Bell, DeLinda Huff, Jeff Parton, Rhyse Curtis and Chase Morris (Bob).
Barnwarming king and queen
Barnwarming was held in November with Joey Huffman crowned king and Kristina Breeden crowned queen. Runners up were Justin Coffey and Kayla Guzan.
NHS Induction
The National Honor Society announced its new members and their offices in November. Officers are Mike Foster, president; Jessica Schneider, vice-president; Charity Cox, secretary; Kate Hangley, reporter; Alyssa Lambert, sentinel.
