Two Gallatin men arrested on charges of child molestation

Two men have been arrested on child molestation charges, with the crimes allegedly taking place at the same address in Gallatin. There were two different victims, ages 13 and 16.
On Dec. 10, the Gallatin Police Department arrested Karl "Mark" Robbins, 21, Gallatin, on two counts of child molestation first degree. On Dec. 11, the Daviess County Prosecutor’s Office issued arrest warrants for Robbins and for Johnny R. Loucks, 20, Gallatin. Loucks was picked up in Trenton on Dec. 11 for child molestation second degree, a misdemeanor.
According to the probable cause statement filed by Gallatin Police Officer Craig Wilson, the offenses by Robbins occurred between Nov. 30 and Dec. 2, 2006, on West Grand Street in Gallatin. Officer Wilson also filed the affidavit of probable cause regarding Loucks. According to the affidavit, the offense committed by Loucks occurred on Nov. 21, 2006, at the same address on West Grand Street.
Chief Mark Richards said additional charges may be filed.
Robbins is being held on $100,000 bond at the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail. Bond for Loucks was set at $1,000.
The charges were the culmination of an investigation conducted by members of the Gallatin Police Department.
