This program is part of the proposed National Animal ID program, NAIS, from the USDA.

USDA and MDA want us to tag or RFID any and every animal including livestock, birds and fish with an international ID number. All movement of animals off of your home property must be reported with in 48 hours. This will be an incredible costly burden in time and money to small and medium size farms.

This NAIS proposed program even requires that your children must tag their horses and report within 48 hours every horse ride that leaves your property.

NAIS is an unconstitutional program that has not been voted on or approved by Congress Read here why this program violates the US Constitution:

I believe the MDA radio advertisements contain false and mis-leading information. You can read more about why many Missourians are opposed to this program at www.nonais.org

Please join me in putting a stop to this waste of taxpayer money by calling or emailing our governor and demand that the MDA stop paying for radio ads promoting their NAIS program.
