May we never become so desensitized that we lose sight of the fact that lives are being destroyed <197> millions!
And whose lives are we destroying? Potential doctors, factory workers, teachers, ministers, scientists, lawyers, computer programmers, government leaders, musicians, law enforcement personnel, business owners, sports stars, and others.
A young mother, overwhelmed with caring for a toddler, a job, bills, and no insurance, decided, without telling her husband, to try to abort the baby just beginning to grow within her by engaging in rugged, harsh physical activity. Nothing happened. A beautiful baby boy was born and grew up to be a minister, leading many people to the Lord and helping many others.
Another young girl, through counseling, decided to continue her pregnancy, but gave the baby up for adoption. What could have been another life destroyed became a source of joy for a couple wanting a child.
One young woman tells of an unsuccessful abortion at a clinic, and she is the product of that failed attempt.
On which side of the issue are you? On which side is our new senator, Claire McCaskill? Ask her.
