Two members of the Gallatin Future Business Leaders of America attended the organization’s National Fall Leadership Conference in Jacksonville, Fla., from Nov. 9-11. Jonathan and Phillip Arnold were chaperoned by Adviser Barb Holcomb.

While there, they participated in several leadership workshops, covering topics such as business ethics, use of Adobe Photoshop software, and state officer briefings.
Jonathan, a GHS senior, is currently serving as Missouri FBLA State Parliamentarian. "Conferences like this one provide a way to pump up FBLA members and send them home with ideas to benefit local chapters. Some workshops also provide tips on competitive events to help prepare members for contests in the spring," he said. Phillip serves as reporter for the Gallatin FBLA Chapter. Mrs. Barb Holcomb is the Gallatin FBLA adviser and is currently serving on the State Board of Directors.
