Funeral services for Larry Pittsenbarger will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 24, at the First Christian Church in Gallatin. Family visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday) at McWilliams Funeral Home in Gallatin. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Wednesday. Intement will be at Fairview Cemetery, near Albany. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gallatin First Christian Church Building Fund.

Larry Franklin Pittsenbarger, 64, Gallatin, died Monday, Nov. 20, at the North Kansas City Hospital.

Mr. Pittsenbarger was born on July 7, 1942, to Frank and Nina (Beeler) Pittsenbarger in Winston. He graduated from Winston High School in 1959. After graduation he worked t the Hamilton Shoe Factory for two years.

On Dec. 23, 1962, he was united in marriage to Mary Jo Robinson in Gallatin. They resided in Gallatin.

Mr. Pittsenbarger worked at the General Motors Plant in Kansas City, Kan., retiring in 1992, after 30 years of service.

He was a member of the UAW Local 31, the Gallatin First Christian Church, where he served as a deacon and chairman of the board.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Pittsenbarger; and twin daughters, Connie Jo and Cathy Lynn.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Jo, of the home; one daughter, Michele Phillips, Carrollton; his mother, Nina Pittsenbarger, Gallatin; two brothers, Don Pittsenbarger, Winston, and Melvin Pittsenbarger, southern Missouri; two sisters, Linda Steward, Gallatin, and Sharon Pittsenbarger, Cameron; and two grandchildren.
