After dinner, President Darlene Patton called the business meeting to order. Lola Critten and Jane McKinsey reported that our "adopted family" has been selected, but, the Angel Tree Child won’t be available until after Thanksgiving. Lola and Jane will have all of the Christmas gifts ready for members to wrap at our December meeting. Darlene reminded everyone to bring non-perishable food items for our family. We will also assemble the ‘goodie bags’ for delivery later that evening. The birthday raffle was won by Delma Rodgers. When the meeting adjourned, the ladies held their annual auction that funds a scholarship for a Daviess County senior girl. Lola Critten has been the auctioneer every year and she does a splendid job! Deanna Fuller, Pam Howard and Deanna McWilliams are to be hostesses for December’s meeting.
