Dear Editor:
A short time ago we were considering selling Dungy’s Market. Our decision was made based on my family’s concern for my health.
However, my son, Jeremy and his wife, Rikki would like to remain in Gallatin and keep the store open. They like this community and the people in this area. Everyone has made them feel very welcome. They feel their future lies here. They are already involved in this community and wish to remain here and raise their family here.
We would like to put an end to all the rumors and uncertainties concerning the future of Dungy’s Market that are now circulating and are of concern to this area’s residents and to our own employees and their families.
The store is not for sale! This community needs a grocery store and we, in turn, need the support of this community. Our goal is to serve you and to provide for you to the best of our ability. It is important to us for you to voice any suggestions on how we could better provide for you and to meet your needs.
Since we have been here we have been making improvements to this store and are trying to provide our customers with new and better products as they become available to us. This is an ongoing process, but it is our goal to be the best store in this community. But we cannot do this alone. We need your support and we do appreciate your business.
Thank you.
Bob, Debbie, Jeremy and Rikki Dungy
