Emily Michener, a senior at Gallatin High School, has been selected as the local nominee for the Prudential Spirit of Community Award.

Students are selected based upon their contributions to the school and community. Emily is active in several organizations and activities, but she selected her work with the Ronald McDonald House as her primary community service. Most of this work was coordinated through the FCCLA Chapter of GHS. She will now compete at the state level for possible scholarship awards. Emily is the daughter of Carla and Tim Michener of Gallatin.
