It isn’t every day you can do something to save someone’s life but by donating blood at the Community Blood Center blood drive on Saturday, Nov. 11, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lake Viking in the clubhouse basement, you will be doing just that.

This blood drive is being sponsored by the Activities Committee. To make an appointment online go to www.esavealifenow.org and use sponsor code lakeviking. You may also contact Loa Parkhurst at 663-3046. Donors will receive a wristband. Just one donation can help as many as two local hospital patients. Community Blood Center must collect at least 580 pints of blood every day to meet the needs of our area.
Please bring photo identification such as your driver’s license. Effective Jan. 1, 2007, a photo ID will be required. Cholesterol test will be performed on all units of blood collected.
