Funeral services for John Jeffries were held Monday at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Burial was at Evergreen Cemetery, Cameron. Memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God Church, Cameron.

John Calvin Jeffries, 79, Cameron, died on Oct. 20, 2006.
Mr. Jeffries was born May 10, 1927, in McFall, to Irvin Jacob Josire and Sibbie Ellen (Campbell) Jeffries.
He worked as a salesman for 50 years at Pettijohn Motors, Bethany. Then he worked at North Country Ford, Cameron.
He married Dorla Dean Bartlett on Sept. 12, 1948, in Martinsville. She survives of the home.
He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Cameron.
Mr. Jeffries was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and five sisters.
Other survivors include one daughter, Linda Baker, Cameron; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
