Gallatin FFA members will be a part of history next week as they join approximately 50,000 other FFA members for the National FFA Convention being held for the first time in Indianapolis, Ind.

While there, they will tour agribusinesses, attend leadership sessions, meet college and industry representatives at the giant career show, and interact with FFA members from across the nation.
Gallatin FFA members will be traveling with members from the Trenton, Tri-County, North Daviess, Hamilton, Gilman City and North Harrison FFA Chapters.
They will also receive a 2 Star National Chapter award on behalf of the chapter and cheer on Erin Croy, a national finalist for the Agriculture Education Proficiency Award, as well as other friends and fellow FFA members from the area.
Seven Gallatin FFA members will receive their American FFA Degree on Saturday, including: Erin Croy, Stefanie Dowell, Aaron Everly, Emily Gay, Matthew Hostetler, Kelsie Parker, and John Runde.
The American Degree is the highest degree a FFA member can earn.
Advisors Chris Henderson and Jamie Rogers along with several Gallatin members have earned the privilege of attending National FFA’s premier event by their hard work and dedication to the chapter.
Those members are as follows: Megan Chadwick, Kelly Critten, Kyle Croy, Lee Deutschman, Kelsey McLaughlin, Kaddie Mott, Sam Mott, Matt Pottorff, Courtney Ray, Derrick Sprague, Maggie Strange, Kari Youtsey, and Laura Youtsey.
