Doris Baker was present on behalf of Sigrist and Associates to go over the financial report the company had prepared for the city during the regular meeting of the Pattonsburg Board of Aldermen held Oct. 11at city hall.

The board accepted the report and carried a motion to pay Sigrist & Associates for their service.
Terry Williams was present on behalf of Veolia Environmental Service to go over the city’s yearly contract. The city has until December 2006 to sign the contract; therefore, the council decided to table the matter until next month.
Farmers Electric Coop had sent an ordinance for the maintenance of the street lights for the city, which has been under review for 30 days. Council motioned to approve and sign the bill.
Dwight Schell motioned to donate $50 to the fire department’s annual hay ride.
The price for an average-sized lot in town is $5,000. All interested parties are encouraged to talk to the council about their plans.
Bills were paid as presented.
The Pattonsburg Board of Aldermen met at city hall on Oct. 11. Those in attendance were Gene Walker, Dwight Schell, Leonard Barr, Lonnie Luke, Doris Baker with Sigrist & Assoc., Terry Allen with Veolia Environmental Service, Dana Cameron, Angie Jones and Eddy Meador.
